Sichuan Fine Arts Institute (SCFAI) is a public higher education institution authorized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to enroll students for advanced degrees. It is a comprehensive art academy, fully supervised by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, with a wide range of disciplines and majors. The institute has the authority to confer bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees and also operates post-doctoral research stations. Currently, it offers two first-level master’s and doctoral disciplines (Art Studies and Design Studies), two categories of professional master’s and doctoral programs (Fine Arts and Calligraphy, and Design), and two additional master’s-level professional degree categories (Drama & Film and Landscape Architecture). The institute comprises two campuses: Huangjueping and Huxi. Guided by the motto “Seek Truth, Master Artistry,” SCFAI emphasizes “cultivating talents and producing masterpieces” and is dedicated to training high-level art professionals with a solid theoretical foundation, systematic expertise, innovative spirit, cross-cultural competence, and the ability to engage in artistic research, creation, education, and management.

一、招生类型与学制

I. Types of Enrollment and Duration

In 2025, the institute will accept full-time master’s degree candidates for both academic and professional degrees, with a study duration of three years.

（一）申请人须为非中国籍公民，身体健康。

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health.

（二）申请人的学历和年龄要求

Educational and Age Requirements

1.申请攻读（全日制）硕士学位者，须具有学士学位或学士同等学历。

Applicants for full-time master’s programs must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.

2.申请重庆市外国留学生市长奖学金或四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金者，年龄需在35周岁以下。

Those applying for the Mayor’s Scholarship for International Students from the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government or the President’s Scholarship for International Students from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute must be under 35 years of age.

（一）申请时申请人未在华就读需提供以下材料

For applicants who have not studied in China at the time of application, the following materials must be submitted:

1.有效期6个月以上的本人护照扫描件（如有担保人请附担保人身份证件复印件）；

A scanned copy of the applicant’s passport (valid for more than 6 months). If there is a guarantor, please attach a photocopy of the guarantor’s ID.

2.本人近期3.5cm×4.9cm免冠彩色照片（1张）；

A recent 3.5cm x 4.9cm color photo (1 piece) without a head covering.

3.出生证明；

Birth certificate.

4.原中国公民移民外国者需提交注销原中国国籍证明；

Former Chinese citizens must provide proof of the cancellation of their Chinese nationality.

5.经过公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，需另外提交本人就读欧宝体育平台_亚博足彩app-唯一授权官网出具的在读证明，被录取后须补交学历证明文件方可获得录取资格。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的译文；

Notarized proof of the highest academic qualification. If the applicant is currently enrolled as a student, a certificate of enrollment from their school must also be provided. Admitted candidates must provide supplementary academic documents to finalize their admission eligibility. Any documents not in Chinese or English must include a notarized Chinese or English translation.

6.学习成绩单。中英文以外文本需附经公证的中文或英文的翻译件；

7.来华学习或研究计划。申请人必须提交用中文或英文书写的来华学习或研究计划；

A study or research plan for studying in China. The applicant must submit a plan written in either Chinese or English.

9.推荐信。申请攻读硕士学位者，须提交两名教授或副教授推荐信，用中文或英文书写；

Recommendation letters. Applicants are required to submit letters of recommendation from two professors or associate professors, written in either Chinese or English.

10.作品集。申请就读专业学位者，须提供与申请专业相关的创作作品集，每幅作品需提供作品简介（包含作品名称、作品尺寸、创作时间、创作说明等）；申请就读学术学位（理论类研究方向）者须提供与申请专业相关的已发表（或未发表的代表性）学术文章目录及摘要；

Portfolio. Professional degree applicants are required to submit a portfolio of original creative works relevant to the applied program. Each work must include a description specifying the title, dimensions, creation date, and statement of creative concept. Academic degree applicants (theoretical research fields) need to provide a list of academic publications (published or unpublished representative works) related to the applied discipline, accompanied by academic catalogs and abstracts.

11.《外国人体格检查表》复印件。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。鉴于检查结果有效期为6个月，请申请人据此确定本人进行体检的时间；

A photocopy of the Foreigners Physical Examination Form. Applicants must strictly adhere to the examination items specified in the Foreigners Physical Examination Form. Records that lack any required items, do not have the applicant’s photo affixed, or do not bear a physician’s and hospital’s signature and seal are invalid. Given that the examination results are valid for 6 months, applicants should schedule their physical examination accordingly.

12. HSK（汉语水平考试）5级或以上有效证书复印件，被录取后须在到校报到注册时提交原件；

A photocopy of the valid HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) Level 5 or higher certificate; the original must be presented upon registration at the school if admitted.

13.《四川美术学院来华国际学生入学申请表》；

Application Form for International Students to Study at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

14.无犯罪记录证明；

Certificate of no criminal record.

15.资金证明。金额不少于30000元人民币的当地货币存款证明；

Proof of financial resources. Proof of local currency deposits of no less than RMB 30,000.

16.个人获奖情况证明材料。

Documentation of personal awards.

（二）申请时申请人在华就读需提供以下材料

For applicants currently studying in China, the following materials must be provided:

1. 上述1-16项材料；

2. 在其他院校学习语言者，需提供所在院校留学生事务管理部门的转学同意信（加盖公章）；

If the applicant is studying language at another institution, a transfer consent letter from the international student affairs management department of the current institution (stamped with an official seal) must be provided.

A valid visa or residence permit for studying in China.

注：无论录取与否，上述申请材料均不退还。

如需申请重庆市政府外国留学生市长奖学金或者四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金者，请一并提交《重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金申请表》或《四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金申请表》。

If you wish to apply for the Mayor’s Scholarship or the President’s Scholarship, please also include the relevant application form: the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government International Student Mayor’s Scholarship Application Form or the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute International Student President’s Scholarship Application Form.

申请者需扫描二维码缴纳报名费400元人民币。无论录取与否，该费用不予退还。请务必在缴费时准确注明申请者的姓名和护照号码。

Applicants must scan the QR code to pay a non-refundable application fee of RMB 400, regardless of admission status. Please ensure that the applicant’s name and passport number are accurately indicated when making the payment.

四川美术学院将根据申请人材料进行申报资格初审，初审通过后，将组织专业评审组对申请人进行面试，主要考察申请人学术水平、HSK汉语水平等方面情况，按面试成绩择优录取。

SCFAI will conduct a preliminary review of applicants’ materials to determine eligibility. Those who pass the preliminary review will be invited for an interview conducted by a professional evaluation panel. The interviews will primarily assess the applicants’ academic abilities, Chinese proficiency (HSK), and other relevant aspects. Admission will be granted based on interview performance.

正式录取通知书、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表（JW202电子签证表》）将于2025年7月中旬寄发给被录取者。

The official admission letters and the Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202 eForm) will be sent to successful applicants in mid-July 2025.

八、费用

VIII. Fees

（一）学费：人民币30000元人民币/学年/生。

Tuition: RMB 30,000 per academic year.

（二）住宿费按照宿舍房型，分为小床房900元人民币/月、大床房1000元人民币/月。可由学生自行选择。报到注册时需一次性缴清一学年住宿费。

Accommodation fees vary based on the type of dormitory room: RMB 900 per month for a small room and RMB 1,000 per month for a large room. Students may select their preferred accommodation. The full year’s accommodation fee must be paid in a single installment upon registration.

（三）教材费根据选课情况据实收取。

Textbook fees will be collected according to the courses selected.

九、入学报到

IX. Enrollment

（一）入学时间：2025年9月，具体时间以《录取通知书》为准。

Enrollment Date: September 2025, with specific dates to be specified in the Admission Notice.

（二）被录取者应持普通护照、《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202电子签证表）前往中国驻外使（领）馆办理入境学习（X1）签证，并持以上材料按录取通知书中的报到时间到四川美术学院报到。

Admitted students must present their regular passport, Admission Notice, and the JW202 Form at the nearest Chinese embassy or consulate to apply for a study visa (X1). They should then arrive at SCFAI at the time indicated in the Admission Notice.

（三）入学时须提供正式本科或硕士毕业证书、学位证书和HSK证书原件。

At the time of enrollment, students must provide original copies of their undergraduate or master’s diploma, degree certificate, and HSK certificate.

（四）购买保险证明。国际学生必须购买能够在中国境内适用的保险，至少要包括意外伤害和住院医疗两个险种。国际学生应向欧宝体育平台_亚博足彩app-唯一授权官网提交保险购买证明，证明应为中文或英文。未缴纳保险费的学生不予注册。

Proof of Insurance: International students are required to purchase insurance coverage that is valid within China, which must include at least accident and hospitalization medical coverage. Students must submit proof of insurance purchase to the Institute, which should be in either Chinese or English. Students who do not pay their insurance fees will not be registered.

凡申请在欧宝体育平台_亚博足彩app-唯一授权官网攻读硕士学位的国际学生，均可申请重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金和四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金。请在提交申请材料时，一并提交《重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金申请表》或《四川美术学院国际学生校长奖学金申请表》（见附件）。

All international students applying for master’s degrees at SCFAI are eligible to apply for the Mayor’s Scholarship and the President’s Scholarship. Please submit the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government International Student Mayor’s Scholarship Application Form or the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute International Student President’s Scholarship Application Form (see the appendix) along with other application materials.
